Child focused healthcare facility seeks a qualified and experienced Controller. This position will work closely with business owners to ensure proper billing and accounting for all company billings. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of billings and accounting for insurance claims. We are looking for an individual who can complete accounting tasks timely and accurately. Candidates must be able to complete complex tasks independently or with a team and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly adjusting journal entries including balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly invoicing
• Receive, organize, and code bills into accounting system
• Closely monitor A/R to ensure timely receipt of payments due, including insurance claims
• Maintain cash accounts and banking responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with bankers, vendors, customers, etc.
• Oversee payroll processing
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
• Exhibit initiative and analytical skills by improving processes
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (an associate degree may be considered with 6 years of relevant and progressive construction experience)
• A CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Must be able to pass a background screening
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
• Must be able to effectively manage accounting staff to meet deadlines
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently or with a team
